Vienna named world’s most liveable city again in 2023

With numerous opportunities, Vienna enables the perfect balance between work and leisure. It's not just Mercer that recognizes Vienna as the winning city: in 2023, Vienna also took first place in rankings by The Economist and Monocle.
Why is Vienna so worth living in?
Vienna's imperial architecture is the symbol of the city, all the more impressive is the nature, which can be found even within the city limits in the form of mountains and natural waters. The Old Danube, the Danube Island and public bathing areas are not only a real enrichment for residents and contribute to the quality of life.
Vienna's quality of life is well known: the first-class infrastructure, safe environment and excellent healthcare make Vienna an ideal place to live.
